Rise
This is an award-winning core skills development programme that gives students the chance to showcase their strengths and fulfil their potential through hands-on tasks – which could range from managing budgets and hiring team members to considering sustainability and the use of AI.
What's involved?
Your KS4 students could be tasked with making crucial entrepreneurial decisions while learning key transferable skills.
Your KS3 students could be involved with using technology to improve business outcomes, evaluating office wellbeing, deciding how to spend £3 million on sustainability or consulting on a transition to remote work.
While participating in these curriculum-linked challenges, your pupils will be supported by volunteers from Rise partner companies. These workshops will:
- Engage students to work collaboratively and positively
- Bridge the gap between the curriculum and future careers, making learning relevant
- Build confidence and unlock aspiration
- Enable students to meet professionals from partner companies
- Develop key skills such as speaking, listening and creativity
These activities are designed to raise aspirations, enabling students to think creatively and work together, building transferable skills that they can apply throughout their education, careers and beyond.
Schools can book up to five workshops.
