How we support teachers to deliver meaningful careers education
We provide free careers and employability skills opportunities to schools and colleges across the UK, reaching more than 65,000 young people every year.
Our programmes are designed for students in under served communities who may have fewer chances to explore their strengths, build essential skills, and understand the world of work. Working with nationwide employers such as Barclays, Dell Technologies, KPMG, M&G plc, the NHS and Network Rail, we deliver high quality employability workshops and modern work experience opportunities that bring careers learning to life. Our programmes develop students’ confidence and self-belief, linking to the Skills Builder Framework and supporting both the Gatsby Benchmarks and the Careers & Enterprise Company Modern Work Experience equalex framework.
All programmes are delivered by engaging and skilled facilitators and, in most cases, supported by employee volunteers from our partner organisations enabling students to meet a variety of positive role models. Many of our workshops can take place in your school, to fit around your timetable. Others give students the chance to visit real workplaces and experience different industries first hand, helping you meet Gatsby Benchmark 6.
