  • What's involved?

Barclays LifeSkills is an engaging programme tailored to help young people build essential work and life skills, boosting their confidence and preparing them for a future they can confidently choose.

For 2025–26, we have two approaches to effectively support the students with the greatest need.

    Option 1

As per previous years, we can visit any SEND, AP or PRU school in England to deliver the Barclays LifeSkills programme.

    Option 2

With this new strand of our offering, we are hoping to deliver the Barclays LifeSkills programme to smaller groups of high priority students within mainstream schools.

This can include but is not limited to:

    • Students with SEND and/or SEMH needs
    • Students at risk of becoming NEET
    • Students at risk of exclusion or facing significant behavioural challenges
    • Students who are Care Experienced, or young carers themselves

    Workshop highlights:

    • Available for all year groups: Workshops are available to any year group
    • Opportunity for multiple sessions per cohort: Each cohort can benefit from up to four facilitator-led visits, or you can book one-off sessions
    • Hosted in school with flexible scheduling: We can customise the schedule to meet your school’s needs.
    • Smaller group sizes: Ideal for small group sizes to ensure a more personalised experience.
    • Variety of key topics tailored to your students' needs: Sessions cover practical skills like interview techniques, self-confidence, identifying transferable skills and financial education, equipping students with tools for both life and work.
