Co-op Bridge to a Career in Legal Services

Bridge to a Career in Legal Services a unique pre-apprenticeship programme run by The Talent Foundry in partnership with Co-op and international headhunters, Odgers Berndtson.

Bridge to Co-op offers students in Year 13 bespoke training and coaching to prepare them for the apprenticeship application process for the Co-op Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship.

What's involved?

This programme is fully booked for this year. You can still enquire about next year's opportunities using our enquiry form.

Students will take part in five workshops, hosted onsite at Co-op offices or virtually, during which they will learn directly from Co-op colleagues and current apprentices, as well as a masterclass with international headhunters Odgers Berndtson.

Each workshop is fully facilitated by one of our TTF facilitators and each student will benefit from small group coaching throughout the programme and during the application process.

Who's this suitable for?

This programme is available to students in Year 13.

Students must:

  • Be interested in applying for an apprenticeship in legal services with Co-op when they leave school.
  • Predicted 3 A-Levels in any subject grade A*-C (or equivalent) and achieved 5 GCSEs with at least 9-4 in Maths and English.

Students also meet one of the following criteria:

  • Eligible for Pupil Premium or free school meals prior to or during sixth form.
  • Current recipient of sixth form bursary.
  • Care experienced.
  • Young carer.

Where is this delivered?

This programme is delivered virtually, as well as in-person at the Co-op offices.
