What's involved?

The workshops are hosted in school and provide students with an important insight into the world of work and the impact that technology is having on the workplace.

What teachers say:

The thing that stood out most to me as a teacher, was seeing the way the students developed their skills and confidence throughout the session and worked together as teams.

The workshop supported students to think about the employability skills they already have and how to develop them further. It also made them think about which skills they are stronger at and which they need to focus on in the coming year.

Students will:

  • take part in a collaborative problem-solving challenge based on real life KPMG client briefs
  • explore innovative technologies and think about how they could utilise the latest cutting-edge technologies
  • be exposed to the economic and social impact that is shaping the business environment, discuss how business might reinvent, innovate and transform
  • interact and engage with KPMG volunteer employees, either virtually or in-person, hearing from professionals in the industry
  • develop their core transferrable skills, including communication and collaboration

What students say:

This experience was fun and challenging and allowed everyone to be creative
