  • What's involved?

    This programme is an opportunity for students interested in a tech career to gain both valuable employability skills and advice, as well as technical training to achieve Microsoft credentials.

    Students will participate in 5 x 1.5hrs employability sessions led by a Talent Foundry facilitator covering topics such as:

    • Smart goal setting
    • Networking
    • Writing CVs and cover letters
    • Preparing for interviews

    They will also participate in 6 x 2hrs tech sessions led by University Academy 92, a Microsoft accredited university, gaining a foundational understanding of the three core trends shaping today’s tech careers, from learning how the internet is powered, to how machines perceive the world, and finally, how to protect digital assets from global threats. Topics covered include:

    • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    • Cloud computing
    • Cyber Security

    Who's this suitable for?

    This programme is available to students who will be in Years 12 - 13, or S5 - S6 in Scotland, in September 2026. Student must be interested in a career in tech.

    Students must commit to attending all 11 sessions.
