  • What's involved?

This workshop will give students the chance to learn how technology can be used to make the world a better and more sustainable place, while gaining meaningful work experience.

Students will come up with a unique product life cycle and practice their pitching skills. They’ll get the chance to network with Dell professionals and connect with the world of work in a hands-on way. The workshop will:

    • Develop knowledge of global and local social issues
    • Provide an introduction to business, marketing and communications
    • Spark an engaging discussion of technology
    • Connect key skills, including creativity, problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking, to real world briefs

Designed to raise students’ aspirations and build transferable skills, this programme bridges the gap between the curriculum and the professional world, preparing students for future careers and educational opportunities.

This three-hour workshop is delivered in-school and can be organised to fit into your students’ timetable.

The students were really engaged and enthusiastic… The facilitator got them thinking creatively about how technology could shape the future. They worked well together, developing project planning, teamwork, and listening skills. It was great to see them collaborating, sharing thoughts, and building confidence in their problem-solving abilities.
