Making work experience work for all young people
At The Talent Foundry, we are committed to creating meaningful work experience opportunities for young people from under-served areas who might otherwise miss out. Our vision is to spark ambition and unlock opportunity so that every young person can succeed and thrive as part of a fairer society.
Our collaboration and recent pilot with KPMG UK and the Careers & Enterprise Company have achieved national recognition for helping to pave the way to a new world of Modern Work Experience:

- 83% of students reported greater awareness of their skills and talents
- Teachers also praised the programme's impact on confidence and self-esteem, and its alignment with statutory careers guidance - including Gatsby Benchmark 6
Being featured in national reports provides independent confirmation that our work is:
- High-quality - meeting statutory guidance and employer expectations
- High-impact - delivering measurable outcomes for young people
- Scalable - recognised as a model that can be replicated to support social mobility across the UK
The Talent Foundry is boosting social mobility in the communities where it is most needed, creating a fairer future. We are also shaping national conversations about the future of work experience, using our expertise and network to guide statutory recommendations.
Our contributions have helped create a new framework for modern work experience, and we're proud to be recognised.
