Leading UK construction companies and the Department for Education continue their support for The Talent Foundry’s sixth annual cycle challenge: Prague to Munich, 26–28 September 2025

Morgan Sindall Construction, the UK’s leading construction and regeneration business, has announced its continued support as Premier Partner for The Talent Foundry’s sixth annual cycle challenge. They are joined by Gold Partner, Willmott Dixon, while the Department for Education continues its support of the event.

This year’s ride also brings together representatives from across the construction sector including BAM Construct, Enlight 10, Flywheel IT, Galliford Try, Mott MacDonald, Nexus Associates, Reds10, Ventilux, and Wates - all uniting for a shared mission to create brighter futures for young people living in underserved communities.

Over three days, a team of passionate cyclists will take on the 250-mile journey from Prague to Munich, climbing more than 15,000 feet through the Czech and Bavarian countryside. This challenge follows previous successful rides - Tower to Tower in 2019, Coast to Coast in 2021 and 2022, Vienna to Budapest in 2023, and Copenhagen to Berlin in 2024 - raising over £200,000 to date for young people who face barriers to education and employment.

The Talent Foundry is an education charity that works with some of the most under-served schools in the country, helping young people achieve their full potential. The annual bike ride is one of the charity's most significant fundraising events, with participants cycling for several days to raise money and awareness for the cause.

Dave Wood, Framework Director at Morgan Sindall, said:

We are proud to support The Talent Foundry’s annual cycle challenge and be the Platinum sponsor for our fourth consecutive year. Our team is actively training for the challenge and the many hills we will be climbing from Prague to Munich. The Talent Foundry’s mission to increase social mobility for young people is incredibly important and closely aligns with our own commitment to being a responsible business. Together, we’re working to ensure our efforts in the built environment lead to meaningful, positive change.

Scott Corey, Strategic Accounts & Services Director at Willmott Dixon, said:

Social mobility is integral to our purpose at Willmott Dixon. The Talent Foundry's work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds aligns perfectly with our commitment to creating lasting positive impact in the communities where we build. By combining their expertise in nurturing talent with our employment opportunities across construction, we're helping young people build careers that matter.

Jenni Anderson, Chief Executive at The Talent Foundry, said:

The cycle challenge is a brings together people who share our passion for improving social mobility for young people in underserved communities in the UK. This year’s ride will push riders to their limits - three days, two countries, and over 15,000 feet of climbing. But every mile represents a step closer to creating fairer opportunities for the next generation. We are so grateful to our partners and riders who are putting young people first.
