We are delighted to announce that The Talent Foundry has partnered with the DHL UK Foundation, supporting their bold new strategy to empower underserved young people in the UK to access decent employment and thrive in their careers.

At The Talent Foundry, we’re passionate about increasing social mobility. Our work focuses on helping young people develop the skills, confidence and mindsets they need to succeed, regardless of their background. Through this exciting new partnership, we’ll work with schools across the UK to deliver structured, impactful experiences that open doors and raise aspirations.

Together with DHL, we will roll out a facilitated three-session employability framework, providing students with multiple, meaningful employer-designed interactions throughout the year. Research continues to show that consistent engagement with employers within the world of work can significantly improve outcomes for young people and reduce the risk of becoming NEET* – particularly for young people facing disadvantage.

DHL employees will play a key role in leveraging their time, expertise and skills, sharing their career insights with students in schools and through workplace visits.

Our recent Volunteering for Impact report shows just how transformative these encounters can be – for the young people involved and the volunteers themselves.

We are proud to be partnering with the DHL UK Foundation to offer more inclusive, meaningful significant employability and skills development opportunities to young people to help them build a future they can feel excited about.

Jenni Anderson, Chief Executive at The Talent Foundry said:

"This exciting new partnership will support many more young people across the UK to discover the strengths and skills they already have and be supported by industry volunteers to build their confidence for life after school.

"We are really looking forward to getting started with DHL employees who have an excellent track record of supporting their communities and helping young people to prepare for the world of work."
