11 June 2026 Social Mobility Day: M&G’s Investment Challenge
Since its inception in October 2025, the Investment Challenge initiative, developed by M&G colleagues, has delivered financial education to young people in real-life contexts, helping to shine a light on investing and grow confidence managing money and finances. Understanding money is key to building a better and more secure future, and our partnership with M&G has enabled over 1,500 students to build the knowledge and confidence required to take control of their financial futures.
The programme combines expert insight with practical learning and volunteer support, ensuring that students can build an understanding of investing and be able to achieve their financial goals. Whether learning about risk and reward or the factors influencing financial markets, students leave with greater financial confidence and improved soft skills - including communication, teamwork, critical thinking and decision-making.
